‘Fab food, Good vibes, Great coffee’
The Cafe space at Inkwell
Inkwell cafe opened its doors for the first time on Saturday. Everybody loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the food and delicious homemade cakes. As it was our grand opening we had put on some live music for everyone to enjoy. A pianist playing songs, from favourite classical pieces to pop classics, created the perfect ambience for our visitors.
A Barista perfected the coffee and our new chef whipped up a storm serving wholesome salads like a delicious Puy Lentil and Caper salad, Carrot and Harissa salad and a fresh herbed Chick Pea salad accompanying sandwiches, baked potatoes and Spinach Filo pie. A hearty homemade soup, Meze platters and Ploughman’s Lunches were also on offer as well as vegan options and cakes.
We hope to offer an exciting range of crafts every week. These will be posted on our facebook updates and on the blog so it will be easy to keep an eye on what will be available.
There is no entrance fee so everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the food and refreshments on sale. Crafts are priced according to each project and we have friendly and helpful volunteers to help assist you with your sessions.

Hi
Where abouts are you located? I cant see the address anywhere and would love to pop down.
Thanks
Gaynor
Hi Gaynor, thanks for getting in touch. We are in Chapel Allerton. Our address: Inkwell, 31 Potternewton Lane, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 3LW.
Hope to see you soon!
I am thinking of looking in on the Cafe but have a hearing difficulty as I hear louder than is normal. can you tell me is there music on all the time.
Hi valerie, there is soft music on in the background or usually some gentle live piano music or acoustic guitar. The cafe does get busier at lunctimes so perhaps a trip down in the morning would be a bit quieter for you.
