Animated Short Film for Annual Members Day

Last week the Inkwell Arts Media team were invited along to the Annual Members Day for Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust (LYPFT) to make a short film to be shown at the end of the conference. Guests were given the oppurtunity to draw a self portrait and tell us ‘How they were feeling’ which was then transformed into an animated film by our media team. The drawings had to be filmed, sound clips recorded and the piece was edited on site at Harewood House.

Here are just a couple of the drawings that were brought to life by our short film. Further edits and finishing touches were then completed back at Inkwell and the end result is a touching, insightful and charming animation featuring some of the members who participated on the day.

Harewood House made a spectacular venue for the annual general meeting and Special Guest of the day was boxing legend Frank Bruno. Interviewed by Tanya Arnold from BBC Look North, Frank spoke openly about his bipolar and the discrimination he experienced when he was diagnosed over 10 years ago.

As well as having the opportunity to tour the grounds at Harewood House other interactive stalls were on site for guests to find out more about the partners organisations of LYPFT (such as Time to Change Leeds, Tenfold and Arts & Minds)
