May Day Exhibition
Open Call for Artists
Inkwell Arts are inviting artists to submit work for their annual MAY DAY Exhibition.
The launch evening for this exhibition will be held on:
Thursday 28th April from 6-8pm,
and the work will be on display until Sunday 5th June
This is one of our lead events included in our annual May Day celebrations. The event is held to raise funds for Inkwell’s future development and sustainability and to celebrate wellbeing and creativity. As this event is a fundraiser we will be requesting £5 per piece submitted. Artists can submit up to 3 works covering an area of no more than 1 square meter, we are accepting 2D work only.
For the duration of the May Day celebrations we anticipate that up to a 1000 people will view the exhibition, as in recent years, so this is a great opportunity for artists to gain exposure for their work. Submissions will need to be delivered to Inkwell Arts with the submission fee on Friday 22nd or Saturday 23rd of April between 10am and 4pm.
If you wish to show work in the exhibition please email Kayleigh Townsend at [email protected] as soon as possible, with your name, and the number of works you wish to submit. We will then email you a delivery note and the labels to attach to your work. Please note all works will be for sale, with a 20% commission going to Inkwell Arts.
