Instrumental Night June 2013

This Friday will see our 9th Instrumental at Inkwell. We can’t believe how the last nine months have flown by and our collaboration with Arts and Minds and Cloth Cat still continues to bring you one of the best acoustic evenings in Leeds. Each month the evening attracts a great following of people who come in and enjoy great music, Real Ale and the relaxed friendly vibes that inkwell has to offer.

This month we bring you some of the finest musicians in Leeds. Doors open at 7pm and the evening runs until 11pm. Entrance is just £3 on the door so we hope to see you at Inkwell this Friday!

Hayley Gaftarnick - ‘inspirational, unique and refreshing’ her music stretches across all genres ranging from acoustic, soul, jazz to blues, folk and middle eastern. Hayley has been recognised as one of Leeds favourite solo performers with a fan base that stretches far beyond her home city of Leeds. Hayley played at the LimeTree Festival last year and is one of the acts we have lined up for you on Friday.

The Doo Berries are Leeds based country folk duo made up of pals Sarah Du Beri on vocal Harmony and Georgette Hilton on Guitar and vocals.

Goat problems is super talented Leeds Folk Band with:

Behla Hutchinson: vocals, guitar and clarinet

Lauren Ricketts: vocals, bass and guitar

James Grunwell: vocals, guitar and bass

Singer Songwriter Richie Schmarler

Richie’s music can be recognized for memorable acoustic songwriting with plenty of hooks and charismatic performances. His sets are varied and dynamic ranging tastefully from chilled out mellow vibes to foot tapping soaring tunes.

The Fringe Sisters are an all female band with four quirky members age 16 to 46 whose repertoire is a mix of folk, jazz fusion, blue grass and much more. A fabulous set was played at our May day event last month and they are back this Friday to wow us some more.
