Inkwell Annual Open Show
Be a part of our biggest fundraising weekend…..
It’s only a few weeks away until our largest fundraising event of the year ‘May Day 2014′ and as part of our huge annual event we are holding our May Day exhibition where we invite our Inkwell artists, friends and supporters to get involved.
Our fundraising weekend starts with an Instrumental acoustic evening on Friday 2nd May and events will run all weekend up until the final big event on Sunday May 4th where we expect 400+ people to attend.
Mayday is an important date in our calendar, not only does it enable us to work closely with our community it provides a crucial fundraising day that helps maintain our services and supports Inkwell’s future and development into self sustainability.
How to take part
The exhibition is open to members of the Inkwell community, from friends and supporters, followers on Facebook, Twitter or our blog, students, volunteers and staff.
Charge:
£5 per artwork with a maximum of three pieces per person.
Size restrictions:
all work submitted must not cover more than 1 square metre in total.
Submissions:
Your art work and entry fee needs to be delivered to Inkwell on any of these dates:

Thursday April 24th -10am to 5.30pm
Friday 25th -1pm to 6pm
Tuesday April 29th- 10-5.30pm
Labeling your work:
You will need to attach a delivery note to each piece of work submitted.

Artist Name
Title of the work
Medium
Short description of the work (eg: Abstract with black green gold)
Retail Price (retail price includes a 20% commission taken by Inkwell)
Phone number and email address
Collection Date of unsold work:
Wednesday 21st May 10am – 6pm
(for students May 22nd and 23rd)

Our skilled exhibition team will hang and curate the show ready for the grand opening on Saturday 3rd May. The preview evening will take place at 5.30pm - 7.30pm at Inkwell where drinks and refreshments will be available, plus this will be the first and exciting opportunity to buy some original artwork featured in the show.
The exhibition will run from May 3rd until May 20th
