If you are interested in drawing from life, drawing cartoons, figure drawing and portraiture… then NEXT STEP is the next step to improving and developing your artistic skills.
Producing Artwork is one of the most exciting and therapeutic experiences one can partake in but can also result in frustration…
However, this 12 week course is designed to allow you to learn and develop your skills in painting and drawing in an easy, stress-free environment.

People are encouraged to drop in anytime. The four likely themes shown above are to be delivered in 3 week segments throughout the period.
People are free to join in and be tutored on a group and one to one basis by Paul and James. Here is some more info about them.

PAUL
Paul is a Leeds based professional artist, known more for his figurative works. He was awarded a degree in Contemporary Art Practice in 2010. Since then his work has moved toward traditional oil paint study, with emphasis on figure.
He continues to study technique and is a keen drawer and sketcher, constantly busy honing his artistry.

JAMES
James has always held a passion for drawing and turned professional in 2011. He works with traditional mediums such as pencil and charcoal and has a keen eye for storyboard work. He enjoys illustrating from the imagination and creates all manner of weird and wonderful characters.
Always full of ideas, you can often find him scribbling in his sketchpad… the perfect place to let your imagination come to life…
