‘The Blues Dudes’ New Year Jazz at Inkwell

On Sunday 4th January Inkwell proudly present The Blues Dudes at the Jazz cafe.

Blues, Jazz and more with Jon “Mr Blues” Taylor on sax flute and vocals Ian Rose on Hammond organ, Keith Jevons string bass and James Robinson drums

Almost everyone who has spent time in West Yorkshire during the last twenty or so years must have heard Jon Taylor play the saxophone. Jon, indefatigable, has played at most of the jazz venues in the region and is also a very experienced busker. On almost any fine weekday he’s to be heard and seen either in Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Otley, Ilkley, York or any one of a number of other Northern towns, playing his tenor saxophone on the street. He performs a wide repertoire of mainstream jazz and blues standards. He plays fluently, both on sax and flute and is also a mean blues singer.

Doors Open at 1pm and the gig finishes at 4pm.
